Signalling a change in attitude, senior Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia for the first time interacted with party workers at the Congress office here on Wednesday, and not in his palace.
According to sources, when in Gwalior, Scindia usually prefers meeting people and party leaders at his palace. However, during his two-day visit to the city that began on Wednesday, Scindia for the first time met people at the Congress office here.
Congress’ Gwalior chief told IANS: “Jyotiraditya Scindia keeps visiting the party office. He also holds meetings there, but Wednesday evening will be the first time that he would hold one-on-one meetings with the people.”
Scindia, who lost in the Lok Sabha elections from his family turf Guna, recently held one-on-one interactions with the people in the constituency to understand the reasons behind his defeat.
