A Hub for Indian Medical Aspirants
His Excellency Sardor Rustambaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to India, emphasized the country’s increasing appeal among Indian students, particularly in the field of medicine. “Uzbekistan has emerged as a hub for quality medical education, offering Indian students a strong academic foundation combined with practical clinical training, empowering them with the essential skills and global competencies required to become successful, compassionate doctors,” said Ambassador Rustambaev.
Uzbek medical universities offer six-year MD/MBBS programmes, including a one-year internship. These programmes are taught in English and include hands-on clinical training in government hospitals.
