Samarkand State Medical University is a renowned institution that attracts students from around the world. Today, it is home to over 3,000 international students, including a significant number from India and Pakistan, who are pursuing their medical education at the Faculty of International Education.
On February 18, the university held a special ceremony to award diplomas to 74 graduating students who successfully completed their Final State Exams. This event marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of these students, who are now poised to embark on their professional careers.
The ceremony was inaugurated by the rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Jasur Rizayev. In his opening remarks, he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students and wished them success in their future endeavors. He emphasized the importance of their role as future doctors and encouraged them to strive for excellence in their respective countries.
The event was also graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including Dr. Sunil Sharma, the head of the “MD House” agency, and Mr. Rashid Mehmood, the head of the “Arsal Education” agency. Both Dr. Sharma and Mr. Mehmood congratulated the graduates on their achievements and expressed their confidence in the students’ potential to make significant contributions to the medical field.
Towards the end of the ceremony, two graduates from the Faculty of International Education, Mohammad Doud and Mylavarapu Madhulika, took the stage to express their gratitude. They thanked the university’s leadership and faculty for the excellent educational experience and the supportive environment provided throughout their studies. Their heartfelt words reflected the appreciation of all the international students for the opportunities and resources made available to them.
