Waseem Rizvi Disowned By Family and Community

After filing a PIL in court to remove 26 verses from Quran, the Ex Shia board
chairman has been ostracized by his family and community completely.
His brother said in a video that Waseem Rizvi does not practice the basics of
Islam by reading Quran or performing the daily obligatory prayers (namaz).
He does it only to gain political clout.
The Shia and Sunni clerics have called all Muslims to unite and gather at
Jama Masjid, Delhi on 19th March to protest against Waseem Rizvi. Clerics
accused him of spreading hatred, terrorism, and stealing Wakf board
properties. They have also demanded his immediate arrest.
Renowned Shia cleric Maulana Kalbe Jawad, who also led a protest against
Waseem Rizvi, said, “Waseem Rizvi is an enemy of Islam and Quran. He has
attached the sanctity of Quran and is further boycotted. No cleric will read his
“namaze janaza” upon his death nor will he be given a place to be buried in
any Muslim graveyard. He is also being declared a terrorist and we demand
his immediate arrest”. Sunni clerics had also joined the protest along with
Maulana Kalbe Jawad.
