Samarkand State Medical University’s Rector Honored as “Honorary Professor” at Xinjiang Medical University

On November 4, the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev, led a delegation to China’s Xinjiang Medical University, marking a significant step in strengthening international academic collaboration.

During this visit, the two universities discussed ways to expand their partnership, particularly focusing on establishing a branch of the Chinese Folk Medicine Center. They also explored opportunities for collaboration with the Xinjiang International Medical Center in educational, scientific, and practical medicine.

In a special ceremony, Professor Haji Akber Aisa, the Rector of Xinjiang Medical University, awarded Professor Rizayev the prestigious title of “Honorary Professor of Xinjiang Medical University.” This recognition not only highlights Professor Rizayev’s contributions to medical education but also signifies the growing bond between these two institutions, aiming to further advancements in the field of medicine across borders.
