Police Arrested Ex-Army Man for Making Hoax Call About Terror Attack

Bengaluru police on Friday late night arrested a 65 year old ex army man Swamy Sundara Murthy on charges of making hoax call about a terror threat, to Bengaluru police control room on Friday.

The arrested person had been identified as a resident of Munivenkatappa Layout, Avalahalli. He is a retired army person, now working as a truck driver

Karnataka DG-IGP had written to his counterparts of 6 states and an Union Territory ?Tami Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Puducherry, Goa, Maharashtra ?warning of terror attacks.
