The registration process for NEET UG 2025 may begin soon, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the notification shortly. The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in pen-paper mode on OMR sheets, and it will take place in a single day and one shift at various centers across the country. Candidates interested in applying for NEET UG 2025 should keep an eye on the official website and prepare the necessary documents for registration.

How to Register for NEET UG 2025:

To register for NEET UG 2025, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: neet.nta.nic.in
  2. Click on the NEET UG 2025 registration link on the homepage.
  3. Register using your mobile number and email ID.
  4. Fill out the application form with all the required details.
  5. Upload the necessary documents such as your Class 10 mark sheet and Aadhaar card.
  6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Important Clarifications:

  • Apaar ID is not required for registration: Initially, the NTA had mentioned that the Apaar ID was mandatory, but it has now been clarified that candidates can apply without the Apaar ID. They can use other valid documents such as Aadhaar card and Class 10 mark sheet for registration.

NEET UG 2025 Exam Pattern:

  • The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper).
  • The exam will have a total of 180 questions carrying 720 marks.
  • For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • The exam score will be used for admission to various medical undergraduate courses including MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, BSc Nursing, BVSc, and AH.

Documents Required for Registration:

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Aadhaar card (or other valid identification)
